A total of 34 Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation student-athletes, an institutional high, were named Academic All-Canadians
The Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation is proud to congratulate the 34 Faculty student-athletes for their excellence in both their academic and athletic endeavors. These student-athletes were recognized Wednesday morning at the annual Golden Bears and Pandas Academic All-Canadian breakfast in Lister Hall. A total of 12 different faculties had academic all-Canadian winners, with an institutional high coming from the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation.
Students receive academic all-Canadian status by maintaining an average of 80% or better over the academic year while competing full-time for one or more University of Alberta varsity teams.
