Alberta Innovates in Health Innovation offer funding and support for students and trainees at all levels. These opportunities support the training of future leaders, so that they gain broad experience that will help them succeed in launching careers in academia, industry, government or elsewhere.

The Alberta Innovates Graduate Studentships in Health Innovation (AI GSHI) combine research training stipends with mentorship and career development allowances to better position emerging talent for high-impact careers in Alberta's health research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem.

The AI GSHI includes a $30,000 per year research training stipend and a career development allowance ($2,000 annually) for a maximum of 36 months across all graduate training.
