Congratulations to Dr Michelle Meagher

Dr. Michelle Meagher has received the 2012 Faculty of Arts Undergraduate Teaching Award, Early Career. This is a new award that recognizes outstanding instructors in their first five years of full-time teaching. Dr. Meagher piloted the program's first lecture course and teaches a ranges of upper level courses related to her research interests in cultural studies and feminist art. Outside the classroom, Dr. Meagher serves as our Undergraduate Advisor and profiles exhibits of student creative work in the Women's Studies Gallery Space. Praised by her students for her rigour and for inciting their interest in the field of Women's and Gender Studies, Dr. Meagher is clearly an innovative teacher.
