SET Change Network sets out to inform and energize U of A community

The Service Excellence Transformation (SET) team has set up a group of on-the-ground faculty and staff who are dedicated to leading lasting change for the university.

The SET Change Network has been meeting monthly since February to learn more about SET, share updates and set a course for continued conversations to occur throughout the coming months. These change ambassadors will: 

• be a link between SET and their area and assist with information flow
• support their colleagues during the implementation of the change
• act as the local presence with knowledge of what is going on in the “inside”
• share ideas and gather feedback from colleagues on proposed solutions
• become early adopters of the new processes or systems brought about by the change

At our most recent meeting, we walked through the change curve to help our ambassador team assess how their colleagues are experiencing the ongoing restructuring. The SET Change Network will guide and counsel colleagues in understanding, moving through and managing transformation within our faculties and departments.
