Paid Closure in Observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The University of Alberta will be closed for regular operations in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Monday, September 30, 2024. All salaried employees who are not required to work will receive this day off with pay.
Casual support staff will not be paid for this day unless it falls on a normal work day. Refer to the Closure Day Pay Guidelines for detailed information for specific employee types.
