Simplify Your Hiring with Enhanced Recruitment Services

Are you getting ready to hire NASA support roles Grade 7 or higher? Opt in for enhanced recruitment services to help you through key phases of the recruitment process, from job posting all the way through to making an offer!

Shared Services is pleased to announce that our Talent Acquisition, Immigration & Records team will now be offering enhanced services to all hiring managers recruiting NASA support roles Grade 7 and higher effective November 1. Enhanced recruitment services include all the standard service offerings as well as support with drafting job postings, shortlisting candidates, developing interview plans, and much more.

These improvements are building upon the success of the Recruitment Pilot that was launched under the Continuous Administrative Service Improvement Program (CASIP) initiative earlier this year to streamline the hiring process and reduce the overall effort for hiring managers. 

What does this mean for you as a hiring manager? 

The hiring process starts with the general steps for recruitment. Once you are ready to post a job, submit a completed job posting request form, and check the box “Enhanced Recruitment Services.” A Recruitment Services Associate will follow up with you to assess your hiring needs and work with you to develop a tailored list of services to meet your needs.

 

What other improvements are being made? 

Based on community feedback, the Shared Services Talent Acquisition team is also updating the following items on November 1 to help support hiring managers. 

  • Job Posting Request Form: We will be replacing the current PDF form with a more user-friendly Word document to fix formatting issues and speed up the process of getting your posting online. 
  • Improved recruitment templates and resources: Templates within the hiring managers’ recruitment folder have been enhanced to streamline the process and help make documents easier to find.

Note: In addition to NASA Grade 7+ support, original recruitment pilot participants (External Relations, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Arts) continue to have the option to request enhanced recruitment support when hiring for AASUA (APO, TLAPO, TRAS - greater than 12 months), and MAPS roles.
