Mass approval for support staff exception time

As we roll over from one calendar year to the next there is a very important time approval process for salaried support staff that ensures leave balances are correct for both the current and new year. Here is what you need to know as a supervisor and as a salaried support staff member.
Salaried support staff: Entering your exception time into PeopleSoft HCM during the pay period in which the absence(s) occur will ensure your time away from work is counted in the correct year.
Supervisors: Approving your staff’s time entry by the deadline each pay period will also ensure their absences are counted in the correct year.
And to make extra sure the leave balances are correct prior to the refresh of balances for 2023, any outstanding unapproved time for the last two pay periods of 2022 will be mass approved. Approvers will receive an email notification to review and confirm whether hours approved through the mass approval process are correct.
Supervisor review and approval of exception time in these pay periods is still highly encouraged to ensure accuracy and avoid over/under payment.
