The New Foreign Visitor Category Assessment Application is live

The new Foreign Visitor Category Assessment (FVCA) is now available. To ensure compliance with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) legislation, steps must be taken to properly invite foreign visitors to campus under the correct category. Completing an FVCA allows Immigration Services in Shared Services to determine the category under which the visitor may be eligible.

What has changed? 

The new system has been to designed to ensure compliance with technology standards in addition to adding a couple new features:

• The new system allows you to save your progress in the form and return to complete it at your convenience. 
• You will receive notifications if additional information is required.

The process for submitting an FVCA remains the same and the interface will feel familiar. The dashboard will also continue to review and track your submissions.
