Call-Back Time Code Available to Employees

Effective May 1, 2024, employees can enter the time reporter code (TRC) 650 for a call-back travel allowance. Previously only supervisors could enter this time code on behalf of their employees. Based on feedback we have heard from some departments, enabling employees to enter this time code into the system can help speed up the recording and approval of this allowance.
What is the call-back travel allowance?
Call-back travel allowance is a payment awarded to entitled operating employees (other than casuals) when they are called back to the worksite after a regular workday, on a day of rest, or if an employee is called back to the worksite on a holiday, vacation day, or previously agreed to lieu day.
NOTE: The call-back allowance does not apply to casual operating-funded employees or trust-funded employees.
