Getting your space ready for winter break

If you’ve been working on campus during Fall 2021, be sure to get your office space ready before you leave. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Clear out any trash from your office and take it to the nearest Zero Waste station
  2. Turn off or unplug all electronic devices including heaters, coffee makers, photocopiers, computers and lab equipment
  3. Close and lock all windows and doors on your way out
  4. Do a final walkthrough of your space before leaving
  5. Have a safe and happy winter break!

If you’re on campus during winter closure, be sure to carry your ONEcard, keys and identification.

For full instructions on keeping your workspace, office or laboratory safe while you’re away during winter closures, visit Human Resources, Health, Safety & Environment’s Safeguarding your workspace webpage.
