SJC Alumni Night with the Oilers
15 February 2022
Come support SJC, meet fellow SJC alum, celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, cheer on Edmonton Oilers and an Oiler/SJC Alum, and win a prize.
** This event is now sold out! **
St. Joseph’s College invites you to another Alumni Night!
Building on the success of our Troubled Monk Beer tasting, come join other SJC Alum at an Oilers Game, on Thursday March 17th against the Buffalo Sabers (should be a win!).
Derek Ryan, an SJC Alum and former men’s resident, now plays for the Oilers! Come cheer on Derek, celebrate SJC on St. Patrick’s Day, meet fellow alumni, and raise money for an important SJC student need.
We will begin by giving our alumni priority to secure these seats.
Tickets are affordable but will go fast.
In addition, we are seeking to offset the costs of upgrading student Wi-Fi in our residences. We have heard from students their challenges over the past year, and the increased demands for accessible Wi-Fi as an important need for students' academic work and lives in the SJC residences. Thus, there will be an opportunity, if you are able, to donate to this targeted project as part of this event and your connecting with students in our residences. Or, just secure a great priced ticket and come join us.
- Tickets: $60.00 each to cover the costs of tickets.
- Section 211 (Rows 6, 7, 8), Seats 5-14
- Seats will be sent electronically following purchase of tickets.
- Tickets can be purchased by sending an eTransfer to: sjcpay@ualberta.ca
(in the memo field, include your name, purpose for the payment, number of tickets being purchased and the email address of the individual to receive the tickets) - Questions can be directed to: sjcdean@ualberta.ca
- If you are able to donate beyond the ticket cost, proceeds will go to updating the Wi-Fi in our SJC students residences.
- The top three donations will go into a draw for a specialized box of organic whiskey.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Please share this widely with your alumni networks. We have secured a good amount of tickets and want to make sure we have a strong showing at the game.
With thanks,
SJC Advancement Team
