Presenter: Dr. Brad Gregory The Unintended Reformation asks what propelled the West into its trajectory of pluralism and polarization, and finds answers deep in our medieval Christian past. With a nuanced treatment of major philosophical, theological, and historical sources, the book traces the way the Protestant Reformation shaped the modern condition over the course of the following five centuries. Dr. Brad Gregory is Professor of History and holds the Dorothy G. Griffin Collegiate Chair at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Gregory is also the Director of the Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study.
