Join us for an exciting webinar that explores the history of human rights in Newfoundland and Labrador including the origins of the Commission, the Act, prominent human rights issues, and the role of community activists. We are pleased to have guest speaker Dominique Clément lead this session. Dominique Clément is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at the University of Alberta and a member of the Royal Society of Canada (CNSAS). His popular website, HistoryOfRights.ca, explores the history of human rights in Canada and around the world.
