At convocation, Meryn will be honoured with two prestigious awards. With a perfect 4.0 average, she is the recipient of the Douglas E. Smith Award, awarded annually to the student graduating with the highest GPA in a non-honors BA program in the Faculty of Arts. She is also the recipient of the William C Wonders Medal in Geography (awarded annually to the convocating student who has shown the highest distinction in the Human Geography program).
After graduation, Meryn will follow her passion for housing research and hopes to pursue an MA in Sociology in the near future. Recently, Meryn presented some of her housing research at the Canadian Population Society, where she was the winner of the best poster competition (pictured here).
Best wishes to Meryn and all of our graduates!
