We are very pleased to announce that, on the recommendation of the Undergraduate Teaching Committee (UTC), Professor Steve Kent will be the 2010 recipient of the department's Bill Meloff Memorial Teaching Award. Dr. Kent will be officially recognized at our Autumn 2010 "welcome back to campus" social event. He has decided that the $1000 award should be spent to "update the department's DVD collections in the sociology of deviance and the sociology of religion.
