Awards

 

Students with satisfactory academic standing in the Faculty of Science who have secured an internship through the Science Internship Program (SIP), are eligible to receive the SIP Travel Award.

The travel award will assist with covering relocation fees for students who will be moving outside of Alberta to pursue an internship placement if the relocation costs are not provided by the employer. 

• The amount of funding available is limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis
• The level of funding awarded will be related to the distance traveled outside of Alberta and will not necessarily cover 100% of travel costs
• Receipts will be required
