Adult Psychiatry Grand Rounds
The Adult Psychiatry Grand Rounds are part of the Continuing Professional Development program in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta and accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. They are an integral function of the Department of Psychiatry, provided virtually via the Zoom webinar platform and available across Alberta and Canada including Northern Areas for physicians and other health care providers. Adult Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held over the lunch hour every Wednesday from September to June, excluding a short winter break for the holiday season in December. Many of the Adult Psychiatry Grand Rounds presentations are recorded with a link to the recording posted on the Department of Psychiatry website. Please click on any of the blue highlighted past events on the calendar to access the digital recordings. *Recordings will be available for three months after the presentation date.
Maintenance of Certification Program (MOC)
Adult Psychiatry Grand Rounds are an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Attendance records for this event are based on the completion of the APGR Feedback form. The link to the feedback form is provided in the weekly email sendout.
