Adult Autism Diagnostic Program

The Adult Autism Diagnostic Clinic is located at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital

The clinic attends to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. 

The clinic provides multidisciplinary assessment and diagnosis of Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as education for the client and family, information about community resources, appropriate referrals and community links. The team comprises Psychiatry, Speech and Language Pathology and Social work.

The primary goal of treatment is to improve the overall ability of adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, to understand their condition and help them identify appropriate supports and intervention options.

This program offers medical students and residents a unique opportunity to learn about the assessment and management of Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders.
