International Strategic Plan

As a truly global university, the International Strategic Plan sets out the University of Alberta’s vision and priorities. Approved in June 2019, the plan describes the vision we have that our students, staff and faculty understand and contribute to our global community. The plan articulates the valued partnerships required at home and around the world to achieve our aspirations.

Building on a rich history of international achievement the plan details the core objectives and strategies critical to deepening and elevating our achievements. As in the past, our future success will require the engagement, commitment and creativity of all members of our community.

An Implementation Plan was developed to outline core actions we will take over the next 5 years and the measures that will document our progress. Annual reports on our progress in achieving our international goals will be shared with our communities.
