Kita no Taiko is Alberta's founding Japanese Drumming group, we believe in sharing taiko in our community. We are excited to offer our beginner workshops in October and November. You can register with your friends and family! We will cover the fundamentals of playing the drum, learning a song, and some Japanese cultural elements. No previous musical experience is required! Taiko is enjoyed around the world, come see what it's all about!
Level I Workshops
Saturday October 26, 10:00am - 12:15pm
Monday October 28, 6:45 - 9:00pm
Level II Workshops (must have taken Level I to register)
Monday November 18, 6:45 - 9:00pm
Saturday November 23, 10:00am - 12:15pm
Each workshop is 2.25 hours and costs $50.
