Dr. Cummings visited the University of São Paulo's Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing from May 9 to May 17, 2015. At the college, she taught two classes for Nursing graduate students on healthcare leadership.
She also met with Dr. Bernardes (associate professor) and Dr. Garcia (assistant professor) to continue their ongoing research collaboration, Hospital Management Models and Hospital Accreditation from the Perspective of Quality Improvement. This project is funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Thank you to Drs. Bernardes and Garcia and the Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing for supporting Dr. Cummings as a visiting professor.
