As an obstetrics nurse with a physical education degree, Kellie Willie (McNamara) has a specialperspective on the health of expectant and postpartum women. In 2015, her two worlds joined in Fit Your Life, Edmonton's first studio solely for pregnant women and new moms. The studio's wide range of programs helps women be strong - mentally, socially and physically - during a time of great change in their lives.
Willie's practical experiences, of teaching hundreds of classes and helping deliver hundreds of babies, are combined with medical research to create safe, carefully designed programs for the women and their "Littles," who are welcome at many classes. Willie leads by example, striving to be her best in her roles as nurse, fitness instructor, business owner and mom.
