Beading Workshop May 2018
Jennine Krauchi spent the morning prior to our Métis Talks event sharing teachings and techniques to a small group of students. They learned how to use the 2-needle beading technique, along with some of the histories of Métis beading across the land. Her teachings were of great value to understanding the work and love that went into traditional beading, and how it has evolved in contemporary times.
A big thank you to all of our participants and to Jennine for sharing her knowledge! We would also like to thank the Indigenous Women and Youth Resilience Project for their support and help putting the workshop together.
