We believe that the UAlberta Department of Music is second to none in this province, and we are proud of our history of excellence and excited about the opportunities for our future.

Ours is a collegial, comfortable study and work environment that includes 17 full time faculty, nearly 40 contract instructors, 5 administrative staff, and 9 technical and support staff. Our graduate program is exceptional, with up to 60 students in masters and doctoral programs; our undergraduate programs boast over 250 students in dedicated programs.
