Canadian Baritone Brett Polegato will receive an Opera Canada Ruby Award on November 18, 2024. The Rubies are among the country’s highest honours for opera artists, recognizing both long-term achievement and innovation in the art form.

The award places Brett in the company of several Canadians who have made a significant impact to opera-making around the world including Robert Carsen, Robert Lepage, Gerald Finley, Sondra Radvanovsky, Barbara Hannigan, and Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
