Passing of late Professor Dalwood

It is with sadness that the Department of Music announces the recent passing of Ernest Dalwood (1921-2012). For many years Ernest taught clarinet in the Department of Music. Following his retirement in the 1980s, he remained active in the Edmonton music community, and continued to conduct the UA Convocation Band until recent years. He was a genuine colleague and devoted teacher and musician. His presence in the Edmonton music community will be deeply missed. The Department extends its sympathy to Professor Dalwood's family.
