Wedding Services

Planning your dream wedding and looking for a unique location? Convocation Hall is the perfect setting to celebrate your vows with friends and family. Offering seating for more than 426 people, Convocation Hall offers classic charm with just the right touch of theatrical flair. A favorite of wedding photographers in Edmonton, the Foyer of the Old Arts Building lends a romantic appeal to any wedding photo.

We offer a Wedding Ceremony Package for a service inside the hall, including a rehearsal for up to two hours, a service booking for up to three hours to allow you time for decorating and cleaning up, and the foyer reserved for your photos for a fixed flat rate. Weddings are only available at the package rate. Please refer to our package below for details.

Wedding Rental Package

The following rates apply for wedding rentals only, between May 1 - August 30.

one 2-hour rehearsal
  • Coordination to be carried out by Rental Supervisor.
  • 3 hours in the hall and concurrent use of Old Arts Lobby for photos
  • 2-hour rehearsal on a previous day in the hall
  • Microphone, lectern, access to amplification, chairs and table on stage

Please note:

  • Convocation Hall is not available for wedding rentals from September to April
  • Decorations may not be left in the Hall
  • No burning candles are allowed
  • No flower petals strewn on floors
