Margaret Lilley
Margaret Liilley is a genetic counselor with Alberta Precision Laboratories. She completed a Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Alberta in 1996 and a Masters of Science in Genetic Counselling at McGill University in 1999. She currently works as a laboratory genetic counsellor and is an active volunteer with professional organizations in Canada, the USA and Alberta.
Research interests include core competencies for genetic counsellors, the role of the genetic counsellor in a clinical laboratory, utilization of genetic testing and communication of newborn screen results.
