Ways to Donate

There are several ways to donate to Media Technology Studies. However you choose to give, your gift will have a powerful impact.

Gifts of Cash

Make a one-time gift or a monthly donation. Monthly giving is especially valuable to our students and programs. Knowing we can rely on your support from month to month allows us to plan for the future. Monthly contributions can be made through your bank or credit card. You can change the amount or cancel your gift at any time. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your gift with receipts mailed once a year in February for your donations from the previous tax year.

Gifts in Kind

Over the years Media Technology Studies has received many valuable non-cash gifts. Gifts-in-kind are eligible for the same kind of tax-benefits and recognition (including a tax receipt) as other donations, once the gift has undergone a financial appraisal procedure.

Corporate Giving and Sponsorship

We are proud and appreciative of our friendship and partnership with numerous businesses and corporations. This support sustains the work that makes us a leader in interdisciplinary studies, research and development.

Gifts from Employees of the University of Alberta

Employees of the UAlberta may make tax-deductible donations using any of the options listed above or through payroll deductions.

Planned Giving

In addition to maximizing your tax benefits, planned giving is a powerful way to leave a legacy and message of hope for future generations. From remembering Media Technology Studies in your will, to making Interdisciplinary Studies the beneficiary of a Life Insurance policy, there are numerous options available to donors interested in planned giving.
