2023 Western Canadian Lecture

The 2023 Western Canadian Lecture, "'Women will not be poor and silent!!': The Alberta Status of Women Action Committee ‘Women Against Poverty’ Campaign", will be delivered by Dr. Nancy Janovicek. The event will take place on April 4 at 4:30pm in Tory Breezeway 1.

Nancy Janovicek is Professor of History at the University of Calgary. She has served on the board of the Women’s Centre of Calgary and was the founding chair of its Social Policy Committee.
