Clinical Trials Office

The Clinical Trials Office is an oversight mechanism for human research activities conducted at the University of Alberta. Its mission is to ensure clinical research at the U of A is conducted according to the highest scientific and ethical standards, complies with local, national, and international policies as well as governing statutes and regulations, and that internal quality systems are comprehensive, appropriate, and effective.

The Epidemiology Coordinating and Research (EPICORE) Centre is a clinical trials and health services research centre that facilitates everything needed to run clinical trials, including protocol design, case report forms design, database creation, study management, implementation, site coordination, data management and analysis.
