Double award for DERTS student thesis

Gaby Jones, a recent Masters graduate from the Diamond Exploration and Research Training (DERTS) program, won a double award for her MSc thesis "Implications of in situ zircon U-Pb, Lu-Hf, oxygen-isotope, and trace element geochemistry on the petrogenetic history of the northern Hogem batholith in the Quesnel terrane, north-central British Columbia, Canadian Cordillera".
The thesis was selected as the 2022 Canadian Tectonics Group Jack Henderson Award for best MSc thesis, and also won the Geological Association of Canada 2022 Volcanology and Igneous Petrology (VIP) Gélinas Medal for the best MSc thesis.
