Congratulations to Kurt Konhauser for having been awarded the title of Geochemical Fellow by the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry. This honorary title is bestowed upon outstanding scientists who have, over a prolonged period of time, made major contributions to the field of geochemistry. Kurt was named a 2017 Geochemical Fellow in recognition of his pioneering research and community leadership that helped define Geobiology and Geomicrobiology as important new fields of research.
