In conjunction with the Pharmacy student associations, attend your two-day in-person mandatory orientation program to learn what to expect as a Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences student.
Here’s what’s planned:
- Day one: Join discussions on academic standards and regulations, curriculum, student services and evaluation/assessment processes.
- Day two: Presented by the Alberta Pharmacy Students’ Association (APSA), learn what your APSA can do for you. Learn about events and competitions and how to maintain your well-being. Also, enjoy APSA games and a campus tour.

ALES orientation is a fantastic opportunity to join us in-person to build community with your new classmates and get program-specific tips and support that will help you thrive in your new academic home. Orientation at the Faculty of Native Studies provides the opportunity to start the year in a good way with words from an Elder. You'll get to know your classmates and meet faculty and staff, learn about academic programming, and social and cultural events throughout the year (including our famous Tea and Bannock!) You'll also learn about all the resources and opportunities unique to students in the Faculty of Native Studies. Lunch is provided.
