Thrift and Thrive

Join us for a fun afternoon of thrifting, jewelry making, and refreshments —all for FREE! All you need to do is just show up! Everyone from the UAlberta community is welcome to attend this event. This is the perfect way to start exploring sustainable fashion or just relax with friends before finals, so mark your calendar!

When: Friday, November 22, 2024 at 4-6 PM

Where: Arts and Convocation Building (Old Arts), Student Lounge

Thrift & Thrive will include:

✨ A jewelry-making station with supplies to make bracelets, earrings, and necklaces 🎨

✨ A button maker with everything you need to design your own accessories 🎉🖌️

✨ An awesome clothing swap to refresh your wardrobe 👚♻️

You're highly encouraged to bring a few items for the clothing swap if you can. This is your chance to clean out your closet or finally let go of those old clothes you never wear!

No registration is required to attend but there is an option to drop off for Clothing Swap items on Thursday, November 21st at the CSL office — sign up to drop off your clothes here.
