First Aid

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and First Aid Kits

AEDs are becoming more common in buildings around campus. We certainly hope we'll never have to use them, but they could save a life if we do.

All units are operational and ready for anyone to use, whether you've received formal training or not. Access these units and follow the instructions (there is a voice that walks you through the steps) in times of emergency.

AED Locations

  • 1st Floor, near south entrance

  • 3rd Floor, across from the elevators

Mental Health First Aid

It is important to recognize the signs of someone (staff or student) who may need help whether they are in distress, upset, sad, alone, depressed, or angry, and to know the resources on campus that can help in times of need. If an individual is in immediate danger, call 911.
