New York

A dedicated group of volunteers plan annual events including a Central Park Skating and Pasta Party and receptions featuring UAlberta researchers on an ad-hoc basis. They also participate in "all-Canadian" alumni activities organized by the Canadian Association of New York (CANY). Over 300 alumni live in the NYC region. We are currently looking for volunteers to join our New York chapter. Please email regionalchapters@ualberta.ca for more information.

Phoenix

About 300 alumni make the Phoenix area their permanent home, plus many seasonal "snowbirds" looking to spend time in a warmer climate during winter. An annual brunch is held that showcases UAlberta research every spring.

San Francisco / Silicon Valley

With over 700 alumni, the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area is the largest USA chapter. Six volunteers plan and host activities including educational events to casual networking get-togethers. The chapter participates in "all-Canadian" alumni events organized by Digital Moose Lounge, a long standing community of Canadians in the San Francisco Bay area.
