2024 University of Alberta Alumni Awards

On October 24 the atmosphere was energetic as we celebrated the 2024 Alumni Award recipients who embody passion, purpose and positive change and who have impacted everything from the family farm and social justice to technology and human health. Five award categories highlighted individual achievements in professional excellence, university service, emerging leadership potential, provincial and national influence, and impactful innovation.

The 2024 recipients of the Alumni Association’s highest honour, the Distinguished Alumni Award, broke free of the status quo to create far-reaching transformation. With a little more bold thinking and risk taking, these University of Alberta graduates have gone all-in — and shaped our world in the process.
