FGSR will count attendance at any of the conference sessions as Professional Development hours requirement for Grad Students.

Bio: Navid Eskandar has worked globally for large firms such as the National Basketball Association, Shell, Canadian Natural Resources Limited, and will shortly be moving to McKinsey & Company. Given his broad background, Navid knows what it takes to get hired in different industries and started a not-for-profit career coaching service - Ladderly - aimed at bridging the mentorship gap between new graduates /professional newcomers and industry professionals.

Bio: Pegah Salari came to Canada as a student of MBA program at University of Alberta 2006. As an international student, U of A and specifically the school of business soon became her second home. The Inclusive culture at the business school along with the welcoming attitude of all staff at the university, created the first spark in her for becoming an advocate of Diversity and Inclusion.
Pegah is passionate about teamwork. She began her career at SNC-Lavalin and Lafarge and moved on to EMCO corporation in 2011 where she held various business analysis and business management roles for 12 years. Very recently she has joined Allan Forrest Sales as an account manager and brand strategist in a strictly sales driven role. She is a mentor for Alumni Relations and School of Business.
