Michael Major
Dr. Major graduated with his dentistry training from Boston University (DMD 2009). He completed a post-doctoral residency in dental management of medically complex patients at the University of British Columbia (GPR 2010), and a graduate residency specializing in Orthodontics at University of Alberta (MSc 2013). Dr. Major is a certified specialist in Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCD-c).
In addition to maintaining a private practice in Edmonton, Canada, Dr. Major is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta's School of Dentistry, the Director of the Inter-disciplinary Airway Research Clinic (I-ARC), and the Director of Clinically Related Research for Orthodontics Evolved.
Dr. Major's research and clinical interests include: evidence-base practice, craniofacial esthetics, pediatric sleep disordered breathing, and skeletal orthopedics. He has published numerous peer-reviewed publications in a variety of orthodontically-related topics.
