Program Fees

The total cost for the 3-week International Winter Program is $3,900 CAD for individual registration. This fee includes:

  • 15-day academic program, including workshops, lectures, and field trips
  • Transportation to and from the Edmonton International Airport and the University of Alberta
  • 21 nights of accommodation in double-occupancy rooms
  • Orientation and social programming
  • Canadian Rockies Trip (2 nights, 2 days)
  • Application fee of $150 CAD, which will be credited to the program fee upon acceptance into the program

The total cost for the 4-week International Summer Program is $4,600 CAD for individual registration. This fee includes:

  • 20 days of academic programming, including lectures, workshops,  and field trips
  • Transportation to and from the Edmonton International Airport and the University of Alberta
  • 28 nights of accommodation in double-occupancy rooms
  • Orientation and social programming
  • Canadian Rockies Trip (2 nights, 2 days)
  • Application fee of $150 CAD, which will be credited to the program fee upon acceptance into the program

Notes:
Funding of any kind from the University of Alberta is not available for the program. Speak with your home institution about potential financial aid for the program.

Health insurance is not included in the program fee. The purchase of travellers' health insurance prior to departure to Canada that is valid for the entire duration of travel is the responsibility of each participant and is strongly recommended.
