Serving the francophone community at Campus Saint-Jean and in Edmonton
Welcome to the Bibliothèque Saint-Jean (BSJ), which serves the francophones and francophiles of the University of Alberta and its communities. Located in room 1-12 of the Pavilion McMahon at Campus Saint-Jean, Bibliothèque Saint-Jean is part of the University of Alberta library network. Its primary mission is to serve the employees, faculty, and students of Campus Saint-Jean.

For community members (off-campus):
Community members can borrow up to 30 items at a time for a two-week loan period. Users can obtain a borrowing card or use their public library card to create an account free of charge.
To create an account, you must go in person to one of the University of Alberta libraries. Valid identification and proof of residence in Edmonton are required.
Temporary Computer Access: Members of the community can get access to computers by presenting valid identification. They can also obtain a reloadable card to print documents.
Special Collections: Although community members have access to most library resources, they cannot borrow material from the special collections: robots, materials on reserve (course material), specialised or multimedia equipment.
