About the Exhibit
It is our pleasure to be presenting the hard work of graduating design students in the 2022 Bachelor of Design Graduation Show: Inner Space. Over the course of several tumultuous years, our graduating class has shown remarkable resilience, creating a vibrant body of high quality work while facing adversity on scales ranging from personal to global.
The show theme refers to the intensely empathetic nature of design. Connecting with people and their inner worlds is a key step in creating something that will enrich their lives. Graduating design students have found new ways to communicate with clients and with one another, bridging physical gaps to continue to form the emotional connections necessary for effective, ethical design. Inner Space refers to these vibrant inner worlds one experiences while creating designs that improve the world.
