Application Information
Apply for University of Alberta International Go Abroad Programs and Funding Opportunities through the Go Abroad Portal by the end of January each year.

Overview
Wageningen University & Research offers a wide range of study options in the fields of climate, energy, water, environment, nutrition, health, landscape, and animals. These fields are approached from various perspectives such as economics, management, research, product development, technology, and international cooperation.
ALES students have an opportunity to study in a wide variety of fields at the historic Wageningen University, located in central Netherlands.
The language of instruction is in English and Dutch.
The ALES Centennial Dutch Endowment Travel & Experiential Learning Award is a funding opportunity for ALES Undergraduate and Graduate students to receive up to $5000/year towards their study in the Netherlands. Students who travel to WUR should contact ALES student services for this funding opportunity.
- The endowment helps ALES students study, research and work with universities and organizations in the Netherlands to learn the leading-edge agricultural practices that have made that country the world’s second-leading agricultural exporter.

The Beauvais and Rouen campuses of Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle (UniLaSalle) are both located relatively close to Paris. With trains running to Paris on a regular basis, students can explore Europe without breaking the bank.

Overview
Institut Agro has 4 separate campuses from which to choose for your exchange destination: Angers, Rennes, Dijon or Montpellier. Each campus has its own application process and timeline with the exception of Rennes and Angers which are combined (you would apply at the UAlberta end for an experience at “Intitut Agro Rennes-Angers – ALES – Exchange” and then, at a later date, you would be able to indicate at which campus exactly – Rennes OR Angers – you’d like to go on exchange).
