Pool Game

This simulation simulates the collisions in a game of pool.
Conservation of momentum and rolling resistances apply.

Note: The simulations will not work on Internet Explorer.

Beam Deflection

This simulation simulates and calculates beam deflections using Euler-Bernoulli Beam Theory.
Moment of inertia, Young's modulus, beam length, load position, and load magnitude can be edited.

Note: The mouse controls may not work with resolutions other than 1080p.

Newton's Cradle

This simulation simulates the movements of a Newton's cradle.
Conservation of momentum and gravity apply.

Note: The simulations will not work on Internet Explorer.

Pulley System

This simulation simulates and visualizes the movements of a pulley system.
The forces displayed assume the pulley system is stationary.

The video gives a brief introduction to terminal velocity.

Click on the GIF to redirect to the terminal velocity simulation.

Note: The simulations will not work on Internet Explorer.

Terminal Velocity

Simulation of a circle falling through a variable fluid. The density of the fluid and circle can be changed. The circle's drag coefficient and radius can also be changed.

TASKS/MC Questions:
A quiz is located near the bottom with a combination of questions and tasks.

The video gives a brief introduction to buoyancy.

Click on the GIF to redirect to the buoyancy simulation.

Note: The simulations will not work on Internet Explorer.

Buoyancy

Simulation of a circle floating/sinking in a fluid. The fluid/circle's density can be changed. The simulation is accompanied by a live plot that shows the forces acting on the circle.

TASKS/MC Questions:
A quiz is located near the bottom with a combination of questions and tasks.

The video gives a brief introduction to EGL/HGL.

Click on the GIF to redirect to the EGL/HGL simulation.

Note: The simulations will not work on Internet Explorer.

EGL/HGL

Simulation of Energy Grade Lines and Hydraulic Grade Lines. The pipeline can be populated with draggable components such as pipes, pumps, turbines, etc. SOLIDWORKS Parts for each component is provided.

Note: Simplified with Mass Flow Rate as Input.
