International Student Advisory Committee (ISAC)

What is ISAC?

ISAC is a student working group dedicated to sharing perspectives on international student programs and services and increasing international student engagement with campus.

ISAC allows you to voice your concerns and give feedback on on-campus resources, supports and systems. As an ISAC member, you are encouraged to represent international students' diverse perspectives by attending events, meetings, and providing crossover representation on various committees.

It is also a platform for U of A International and campus partners to offer professional development to council members and build awareness of services and resources available to international students.

Who can join ISAC?

ISAC is open to international undergraduate or graduate students who hold a valid study permit and are active campus community members.

*Though we are happy for our current volunteers to join, we would love also to have students who have not been involved with ISS before.

How to Apply?

No prior experience is needed; ISAC is an excellent opportunity for students who have never been involved with ISS.

Submit a cover letter and resume along with the ISAC application.
Please note: Applications received without a cover letter will not be considered.
