- Julie Rak - awarded the Henry Marshall Tory Chair.
- Kim Raine - honoured as a Distinguished Professor.
- Kerry Mummery-received the President's Award of Distinction at the 2019 ARPA Conference.
- Mauricio Sacchi - received Virgil Kauffman Gold Medal Award.
- Nese Yuksel - received the Backbone award from Osteoporosis Canada.
- Rebecca Rubiliak - received the AABRD Graduate Scholarship.
- Rylan Lundgren - awarded the Martha Cook Piper Research Prize.
- Sherry Dahlke - received distinguished award from National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence.
- Valérie Lapointe-Gagnon - awarded the Prix de l'Assemblée nationale du Québec for her book Panser le Canada: Une histoire intellectuelle de la commission Laurendeau-DuntonPanser le Canada: Une histoire intellectuelle de la commission Laurendeau-Dunton.
- Yeaseul Cho - received the Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation of Edmonton (KCSFE) scholarship.
