What better way to celebrate Pride Month than with a Met Gala?
The iSMSS fundraiser for Camp fYrefly took place at the Royal Alberta Museum on Saturday night (June 8, 2019). The theme for the night: camp - not the summer kind, but an exaggerated fusion of high and popular culture befitting a Pride Month Met Gala.
This June marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village, from which Pride Month originated.
The special fundraiser also featured a performance by Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden.
