On Monday (November 13, 2017), retired U of A Bears Hockey Coach Clare Drake was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Unable to attend the ceremony in Toronto, at the Saturday Golden Bears Hockey game, Coach Drake was also celebrated in the arena that bears his name on North Campus.
