Image courtesy of the U of A Cheer TeamThe Fort McMurray Disaster Relief bake sale, organized by the U of A Cheer team (in partnership with St. Joseph’s College) raised over $1087 dollars in less than 6 hours on May 12, 2016! The support and generosity from the U of A community has been tremendous and has certainly wowed the events organizers.
Currently, St. Joseph’s College is supporting 20 Fort McMurray evacuee families in their women’s residence.
The bake sale proceeds will be going directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief fund and all donation drive items will be given directly to the evacuee families at the residence.
